Brandon Bruce

Hi, my name is Brandon Bruce, I’m from Springfield Missouri. I am a sophomore at KU pursuing a B.G.S in Psychology. My specific academic interests deal with how families interact and how jurors use unconscious assumptions to influence verdicts particularly when those assumptions originate in adolescents. I am also interested in why, how, and the effectiveness of a relationships when both parties suspend belief or observation of the world around them in order to maintain happiness and cohesion, particularly when faced with peer pressure that challenges that suspension. After completing the undergraduate program, I plan to pursue doctoral training in social psychology. In my free time I coach middle and high school debate and enjoy hobbies such as cooking and fishing.
